Love That Will Forever
Transcend Across Infinity
In Loving Memoriam
On June 28th, 2024
John Jay Niebuhr
was tragically taken too soon
while parked in his truck,
In a fenced-in parking lot,
across from a hotel,
After multiple attempts to leave,
near the Airport airfield service area,
in Melbourne, Brevard County, FL
with his four beloved animals.
The Fatal Encounter
Following an estimated thirty minute
Interaction Involving Airport authorities...
Airport officials classified the area as Non-Secure
and Outside the airport property perimeter fence.
Niebuhr himself verbalized his intent
to wait on public property with his animals.
Yet, Niebuhr never returned home ever again.
The Four animals in this incident survived.
Beautiful, the dog is accepting assistance here.
Instead of a routine matter, a deadly, fatal and tragic outcome occurred that raises serious concern.
Statement from The Niebuhr Family -
"John Jay was incredibly exceptional and our
loss is immeasurably beyond comprehension.
We are devastated at this senseless tragedy
that never should have occurred.
John deserved to feel safe in his vehicle
with his animals in his care.
Most tragically, from those sworn and entrusted
with the sacred duty to protect."
We are deeply saddened by the profound
impact this has had on all those affected.
Our thoughts, prayers and support
continue to be with the family and loved ones.
We respectfully request you honor the family's privacy
as they navigate this deep and devastating loss.
Your understanding and compassion during
this difficult time are deeply appreciated.
